The Office of the Special Prosecutor welcomes new Assistant Special Prosecutor, JACOB GORDIN, who commenced his duties with the OSP on February 22, 2019.
Mr. Gordin replaces former Assistant Special Prosecutor, Tim Zintak. Mr. Zintak recently left to further his career in the United States after successfully completing his 2.5 year extended contract with the OSP. Mr. Gordin is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and is a licensed attorney from the State of Pennsylvania. Prior to accepting a position with the OSP, Mr. Gordin resided in Baltimore, Maryland, where his spouse is attending medical school.
Beyond law, Mr. Gordin’s interests include music and competitive swimming, and he speaks fluent Russian. His colleagues and employers describe him as “highly articulate, intelligent, patient, and professional.”
We shall miss Mr. Zintak, but as change is inevitable, we welcome Mr. Gordin to our office and appreciate the many talents he brings to our team. On April 11, 2019, Mr. Gordin was sworn in as counselor of the Palau Supreme Court by Associate Justice Lourdes F. Materne.
